Entry: Setting the Tone for the Character of a Dream Lake Home

In the entryway, we aimed to strike the perfect balance between family-friendly practicality and lakefront elegance. To achieve this, we chose a rich, warm wood floor and paired it with encaustic tile that mimics the look of a rug. This not only added character but also made it easy to maintain - a must for a lakefront property.

 

To enhance the character of a dream lake home, we carefully selected light fixtures that cast the perfect glow. We also added stair details that draw the eye upwards, showcasing the craftmanship right from the start.

Door Hardware: Rustic Elegance

The doors are the gateway to the soul of a home, and for this lakefront project, we chose knotty alder doors that exude rustic charm. Complementing these doors, we chose Emtek door hardware with rosette details, adding a touch of rustic elegance that ties the entire entry together.

 

Light Fixtures: Striking the Balance

A lake home with character deserves lighting with character. To strike the perfect balance between rustic and industrial aesthetics, we handpicked a mix of light fixtures that not only illuminate the space but also infuse it with a sense of charm and individuality.

Stone: Timeless Appeal Inside and Out

To ensure a timeless feel, we introduced a warm/cool mix of interior and exterior stone. Our clients were able to see and envision the actual stone samples, allowing them to make an informed choice that resonated with the character of their dream lake home. This stone will be used not only in the interior of the home, but also the exterior, seamlessly connecting the two worlds.

 

Fireplaces: Rustic Warmth

To further enhance the rustic charm, we used the same stone samples to design the fireplaces. Gas inserts were chosen to provide the ambiance of real flames. This also ensured efficiency and safety. These fireplaces are more than just sources of warmth. They are also focal points that embody the character of a dream lake home.
