LiLu’s 5-step process to fabulous design provides our clients with an engaging, enjoyable, intentional experience from start to finish.

INITIAL INTERVIEW
Meeting with you — preferably in
your home — to determine your goals, understand your dreams, and also identify any concerns.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT
Written confirmation of the project scope and fees — to help limit any surprises along the way.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Design Programming: Gather more detailed information required to align what you love with where you live.
Concept Development: Explore ideas and develop sketches to identify a design solution that addresses scale, massing, line, texture, color shape, and more.
Spatial Relationships: Study traffic flow, support of functional needs, and furniture layouts within three-dimensional space.
Selection: Design or provide fixture, finish, furnishing and fabric options for your interior.

DESIGN
DOCUMENTATION
Written and drawn documentation of the design solution; finish and fixture specifications for your contractor; technical drawings for remodeling, lighting plans, custom cabinets, and custom furniture. No detail is too small.

EXECUTION &
SUPERVISION
Check-in with you throughout the entire project in order to employ LiLu’s essentials for impeccable design.
Visit construction sites to guide and assist your contractors; place furniture orders; oversee the fabrication of custom items; arrange and supervise delivery and installation.
