LISA PECK, ASID
Owner, Principal Designer
Lisa is an award-winning, luxury interior designer known as the “go-to” expert and client advocate in Minneapolis for discerning families and professionals.
You know how Bobby Fischer was a chess phenom at age 13? That kind of describes Lisa. Not the chess phenom part so much as exhibiting a natural talent for something at a young age. When most kids struggled to match their socks, Lisa played a matching game with her mother that developed her remarkable memory for color. And when most kids griped about cleaning their bedrooms, Lisa used it as an excuse to redecorate. An interior design career was calling.
For 30+ years she has designed intimate, personality-driven, intentional interiors that have been featured by HGTV, Dwell, Midwest Home & Design, and Mpls/St.Paul Home. Lisa understands, and shares with others, how living life to its fullest can be accomplished by making intentional decisions along the way. Aligning what we value with what we experience is for everyone, everyday. It’s how we can live a life we love.
Lisa is recognized for her concierge level of service, thorough process, and for nurturing the type of life-long partnerships that leads the majority of her clients to hire her to execute multiple projects. Perhaps more importantly Lisa has developed lasting relationships with clients and trade professionals along the way. And she has done so in large part because her pull-no-punches approach and inspired designs knock your socks off.

A designer’s mind is a terrible thing to waste. This might explain why Ally can’t seem to turn hers off. New construction, major remodels, decorating, she does it all. Ally spends countless hours mentally designing everything in her path—when she’s not spending time with her husband, daughter and dog.
This passion borders on obsession, and Ally is the first to admit it. But her clients don’t mind. With laser-focus on even the smallest detail, Ally imagines all the possibilities, both seen and unseen. Long after leaving the studio, she’s still devising ways to offer a homeowner the perfect solution. The result is often unexpected to others but exactly what Ally envisioned all along.
WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT LILU I am drawn to creative expression in many forms. From sketching custom cabinetry and furniture, to building unique fabrics schemes, to finding ways to use materials we've never used before. When my mind lights up with ideas and I can't stop thinking about a juicy design problem, it’s a good day.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO I'm not sure who I am without a creative outlet—I would probably get into all kinds of trouble!
HOW I PURSUE INTENTIONALITY IN MY LIFE I pursue work-life balance. For now that means working three days a week and spending the rest of my time with my husband and daughter. Making time for traveling. Oil painting (although not as often as I would like). Taking time to enjoy the simple things in life—a family walk by Minnehaha Creek, an ice cream by Lake Harriet, BBQing in the backyard.

For Laura, interior design is a second career. But, it was one of her first loves. In her youth, reading design magazines was an obsession. Now as a design assistant, Laura has a unique point of view that allows her to be adept at seeing all the possibilities for custom design solutions. She is becoming a master at curating beautiful material palettes.
WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT LILU I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this talented team at LiLu. I enjoy the creative environment of the studio and the sharing of ideas that have the ability to positively impact our clients.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO I believe that our homes should support our lives, allowing us to better function in the world, as well as embrace us when we return. A home that expresses our unique individuality makes for a happy home. I want that for people.
HOW I PURSUE INTENTIONALITY IN MY LIFE I journal my goals and have a list of things to do that support my overall well-being. The list reminds me that it’s small things that keep me on track – like quiet minutes to enjoy a cup of hot tea, or resetting the day with a walk outdoors.

WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT LILU I appreciate the opportunity to use my creative and artistic skills every day as I continue to develop and expand my design capabilities on each unique and inspiring project in the LiLu studio. Having done my internship with LiLu I knew I would be working with a positive and supportive team to bring client’s spaces to life in innovative and personalized ways.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO I find value in being part of a team that works closely with each client to express their values and aesthetics in the spaces they live through new, interesting, and lively design solutions.
HOW I PURSUE INTENTIONALITY IN MY LIFE For me, living intentionally means being creative not only at work but in my personal life. I dance, paint, sew and create digital art. When I’m not creating, I seek inspiration by traveling and expanding my knowledge of art history. Spending time with family, friends and my dogs tops my list too!
