Dream Lake Home – Bunk Room Bath

The next installment in our dream lake home project reveal series will focus on a very fun and functional room in the home, the bunk room bath. The space will be both functional and aesthetically appealing, merging convenience with the serene lakeside charm that matches the rest of the home.

Crafting Material Concepts

To kick off our design process, we curated three distinctive material concepts that aligned with the vision of this new construction lake home. We aimed for a balance between timeless elegance and practicality, considering the room's dual-purpose as the kids bunk room bath and the main bath for lake-goers.

 

 

 

Vintage-Inspired Fixtures

To invite a vintage vibe into the bunk room bath, we selected fixtures and lighting. We opted for a sink and other fixtures that have a classic appeal, complementing the rustic charm of a lake house. The lights were chosen to evoke a sense of nostalgia that align with the vintage aesthetics.

Final Elevations: Blending Storage and Style

As the design process continued, we refined the elevations, focusing on functional elements without compromising on style. Ample storage was included into the layout, including hampers and hooks strategically placed for beach towels, ensuring a clutter-free, organized space.

The navy color scheme, a timeless choice for lake homes, was incorporated into the design, and the stripes on the tile added a nautical flair, evoking the serene beauty of the surrounding lake.

 

 

 

The Bunk Room Bath's Dual Role

The bunk room bath not only caters to the bunk room's needs but also serves as the primary bath for lake days. The design was created with quick showers after a swim, or a leisurely bath after a day of lake activities in mind.

 

In conclusion, the bunk room bath in this dream lake home project is a blend of style, functionality, and comfort. The carefully curated elements, vintage-inspired fixtures, storage solutions, and classic color scheme resonate with the timeless charm of a lakeside retreat.
