Our Top 5 Holiday Spots

Whether you’re looking for unique holiday gifts, time in nature, or winter fun with friends and family, Minnesota delivers.

Here are LiLu's Top 5 holiday spots for 2022:

MN Landscape Arboretum

Take an evening stroll through the lit-up paths of decorated trees and flowers at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Stop by S’mores Village to warm up near a fire and buy s’mores kits to roast marshmallows.

Winterlights

Norway House

During the holiday season, the Norway House turns into a gingerbread oasis. Another of LiLu's top 5 holiday spots in the Twin Cities.

To create this tasty spectacle, local bakers and community members donate their renditions of familiar buildings and landmarks from the Twin Cities and beyond.

Snow Sculpting

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Stillwater, is honored to host the 2nd World Snow Sculpting Championship competition, sanctioned by the Association Internationale de Sculpture sur Neige et Glace based in Finland. Teams from around the world travel to Stillwater, Minnesota, to create amazing snow sculptures while competing for prize money and the title of World Champion.

Northrup King

Holiday Saturdays are back at the Northrup King Building. Browse hundreds of unique and creative works from local artists and creators every Saturday during the months of November and December. Take care of all your holiday gift needs under one roof and rest easy in the knowledge that when you buy local, you never have to worry about shipping delays! It's a great year to support Minnesota artists and creative businesses.

Celebrate the Solstice

Mark the shortest day and longest night of the year at ASI’s popular Winter Solstice Celebration. FIKA Café will serve a special festival menu with small plates and warm glögg (Swedish mulled wine). The ASI Museum Store and Jul Shop will also be open late for your last-minute gift needs!

We wish you a joyous holiday season and hope to see you out and about in our beautiful Twin Cities!
