Charming Details

This Charming Lake Home is a new construction home in the Suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul is today’s Peek at a Project.  Last week we shared the entry and powder bath that greets you as you enter. Today we invite you to take a peek inside their charming master bathroom and guest bathrooms.  We designed these two spaces to have details that are reminiscent of one another in the tile but with a hierarchy to know one is the master suite.

Accent Tile Inserts

Many times we find accent tiles we love and would love to cover full walls with them.  Many times however, we have the challenge of balancing our client’s budgets with the overall construction costs.  One way we are able to balance materials costs is to come up with creative and beautiful ways to use the more expensive materials with budget friendly ones.  In this traditional lake home, we designed picture frames to mirror one another in the master bathroom over the tub and in the shower.  The accent tile is framed out by beautiful trim piece tiles. In the guest bathroom, we carried this concept up into the shower with a more modern take with a herringbone tile.  The rest of the bathroom walls and shower walls are covered with field tile.  The creams and whites offer a fresh palette with just enough intricate detail.
