This Charming Lake Home is a new construction home in the Suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul is today's Peek at a Project. We have been sharing this new home over the last couple Peek at a Projects.  We shared the overall concept and entry here and the master and guest bathrooms here. This week is all about their Library and Laundry/Mudroom.

Stained Glass Details

One of the fun details in this charming lake home are the stained glass custom designs we collaborated on with SALA Architects and Glass Art Design here in Minneapolis, MN.  One of the stained glass windows will greet you upon entry and the other will welcome you into the library which is also viewed from the living room.  Throughout the process of building a new construction home LiLu Interiors is here to help you with custom details like the design of stained glass windows.

All the glass

During the process of designing the custom stained glass, we met onsite at GlassArt Design in Minneapolis and scanned through hundreds of colors samples to select the perfect colors.  This is something that could feel overwhelming when you add this in with all the other decisions that you need to make when designing a home but trust our expertise and we will make the process easy and even fun!

Function in design

The client's laundry and mudroom all about function but it does not lack beauty.  On the walls you will find a Peter Fasano wallcovering that joins together an updated traditional pattern with fresh colors. It is not only beautiful and reminiscent of their home they are leaving in Michigan, but is also functional for a multitude of options.
