This Urban Cabin is our Peek at a Project for a couple who is re-imagining their life as they enter a new stage as empty nesters. This condo in Minneapolis is a place where they can come and stay for the weekend together; Head out to see a play at the Guthrie, catch a game at the new US bank stadium, dine at one of the new restaurants, walk their dogs through the new designed parks, take the day and explore the art crawls around town...the list is endless for the fun possibilities that Minneapolis has to offer.
Simple Floor Plan for Easy Maintenance Weekends at this Urban Cabin
When you head up to any cabin for the weekend, you want a space that doesn't require a lot of maintenance or care. At this two bedroom condo, we made room just for the necessities. Each item was intentional selected to serve multiple purposes throughout this urban cabin.

Extra Space with Dual Purposes and Function
A guest bedroom with a sleeper sofa and a pair of ottomans for serves as an overnight room for guests and an extra space to lounge and watch a movie or the game. The desk doubles as media storage along with the desk chair that matches the dining chairs for extra seating.
Open Dining Room that Expands
A built in banquette with a table that comes with built in leaves for fast transition to seat company and it comes equipped with self storing so extra storage is not needed.
Living Room made for the Weekend
A large sectional with a swivel chair that welcomes lounging on a weekend away.
Master Bedroom Made for the Weekend
The master bathroom is equipped with just the necessities...two night stands, a bed and a reading chair and ottoman in the corner.
