Transforming an Outdated Bath Into a Tranquil Space – LiLu Peek at a Project
Tranquil Transformation
A recent before and after remodeling project had us transforming an outdated bath into a tranquil space. Our client's master bath was in need of an update and she wanted the bath to feel like a tranquil space. We started with opening the space up and removing the walls of the enclosed shower and the walls that separated the toilet room. We replaced the tiled shower walls with clear glass and created a separate space for the toilet behind a tall linen cabinet with glass doors above. The glass opens up the space and lets light in. One of the first materials we selected was the shower floor, stone pebbles that create an organic natural look and spa-like experience. Next we removed the drop-in tub and surround and replaced it with a free standing soaking tub. This opened up the floor space and is a clean, restful look. The mix of warm and cool shades of grays and neutrals is a soothing color palette. Overall the space feels lighter, brighter, visually organized. Take a look at the before and after photos to see the tranquil transformation

You achieved such a nice transformation for your client. I bet they’re thrilled with this outcome. I especially like the shower area which is now so open to that pretty view and the rest of the bathroom!

Such a better use of space and great result aesthetically! Love the free standing linen cabinet instead of a wall. You were really thinking when adding the frosted glass on the interior for lighting. Very creative and functional idea!!
