At LiLu, we select a lot of furniture. And while each client is different, we sometimes find ourselves using furniture pieces that are tried and true in order to fit the client's budget and achieve a look that is long-lasting and easy on the eyes. But other times, we need a knock out piece to create a strong statement in a space. Enter the New Traditionalists! These furniture producers are not afraid to think outside the box when it comes to furniture.

A side table featuring unique lines and a unique combination of finishes: leather strapping detail, combined with a punchy painted finish.
A hair-on-hide bed that would definitely be a statement piece in any bedroom.
This one reminds me of a sheep in a straight jacket... not sure if that's a good thing, but I applaud the creativity.
This piece, and several others like it in the line, have multiple finish options. The panels can be fabric or leather covered in addition to many wood finishes for the frame. The combinations are endless and anything but ordinary.

This sofa has a wood back and sides, but doesn't sacrifice any comfort. The quilting is a nod to traditional and adds texture.
