The Intention Room: Peek at a Project
PEEK AT A PROJECT
Our most recent project found us designing tranquil spaces for a client with an active social life and busy travel schedule. For our client who is always on-the-go, it was at the top of her priority list to have her bedroom feel like a boutique hotel that would welcome her home. Our goal was to create a luxurious respite from her on the go lifestyle.
The Inspiration
We started with her love of fashion, jewelry and antiques. We wanted to incorporate existing pieces and mix with new to create a beautiful, feminine space with charming details.
The Heirloom
We kept the crystal chandelier, which set the tone perfectly for a beautiful feminine space. She owned a wonderful antique night stand that belonged to her Grandmother. We paired her existing night stand with a new painted night stand and headboard that has an art deco vibe to complete the boutique mix.
The Fabric
To quiet the asymmetrical windows in the room we draped the wall with fabric, creating a restful backdrop and envelope the room in warmth. To let in light we added drapery tiebacks. For our client who loves fashion, these are like jewelry. The upholstered headboard and layers of soft bedding and pillow fabrics create a tactile experience of luxury.
The Details
A pink glass lamp and drawer tassels add the feminine touches. A mix of patterns and finishes make up the charm of a boutique setting.
Let’s make life better. Let’s bring your intentions home.

What a lovely space, Lisa! Soft and feminine and pastel pinks and blues without being cloying or juvenile…that takes a deft hand and you did it beautifully!
