Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

The new Target Field has made a baseball fan out of everyone it seems. But whether you are a diehard baseball fanatic or someone who falls a little short of that title, it’s hard not to be seduced by the lure of a brand new stadium. The Twins home opener is this Friday, April 8th, and since LiLu’s studio has a great view of the glowing lights of the Twins sign, I just had to write about the design of this new hub of excitement.
This week, we will share some fun facts about the design of Target Field. So get yourself a bag of peanuts and cracker jacks and stay tuned as we delve into the different spaces and experiences throughout the park, the intentional use of materials, and how the stadium honors the history of baseball in Minnesota.
