Superhero Fabrics

Like kids adore their comic book heroes, parents will love these super fabrics for their amazing powers and head-turning looks:

• Commercial fabrics in general are a great choice for homes with half-pints. Most are incredibly durable. Don't be fooled, many commercial grade fabrics have as much beauty and interest as their residential counterparts. Another bonus: they often cost less!
• Crypton® is a textile finish that is stain, water and bacteria resistant. It's easy-to-clean and stays fresh, looking better longer than other fabrics. Even ketchup is repelled with ease. These fabrics can be cleaned with soap and water, and some even tolerate bleach. Now, any fabric that tolerates bleach is a super-hero in our book. Many commercial fabric manufacturers have Crypton fabrics within their lines. Once a healthcare work horse, new technology has enhanced this amazing finish into fabrics with a beautiful look and feel.
• Flame-retardant Trevira CS is another super finish. These fabrics are inherently flame-retardant but the process to get there makes the fibers tough and easy-to-clean. Like Crypton, this technology is producing fabrics that look as beautifully as they perform.
• The same is true of Nano-Tex. Another applied finish, Nano-Tex creates a permanent soil and stain repellent finish that is easily cleaned and breathable. It can be applied to virtually any fabric. The process also increases the fabric's strength and durability while offering mold/mildew protection. Nano-Tex even sound like a super hero.
