Stand up and be organized

As part of a larger kitchen remodel, we designed this kitchen desk area for a busy household. The mom in this house rarely has a chance to sit down so we designed a stand up area with file drawers, a place for every school and activity directory and a place to display kid's artwork. We contrasted the color and cabinet style emphasizing that this area has a different use. A quick clean up of the counter and it doubles as a serving surface for larger parties.
