Stand By Your Concept

By Lisa Peck
Once you have developed a good concept, use it to guide every decision. Do not stray. Do not be tempted to include things in your design that do not fit the concept. It will result in a poorly designed space. You can try to cover by saying you were trying to create an eclectic interior but unless you really included eclectic as part of your concept...people will probably know.
Today our blog is featuring a little contest. Below find a brief keyword concept list and some material and furnishing choices. Select the correct choices and you will be entered in a drawing to receive Vincente Wolf's book Crossing Borders. It is full of wonderfully inspiring interiors that illustrate interiors designed with a concept.
Email your answers to info (at) liluinteriors.com. Answers are due by Monday July 26, 2010. We will announce the winner on Monday August 2, 2010. Hope this is a fun little addition to our blog. Your email address will not be used for any purpose accept notification about this contest.
