Sneak Peek – 2011 ASID Kitchen & Bath Tour

We are pleased to be a presenting a home on the ASID Kitchen & Bath Tour starting Saturday, September 10. We personally invite you to stop by and meet us and see our work first-hand. Located in the Mac Groveland area of St Paul, this home is a great example of new construction in an old neighborhood, done right. The home was a team effort: built by Streeter and Associates, with architectural elements designed by Jeff Lindgren, now of Jalin Design, and interior finishes by LiLu Interiors. The clients are a fun, laid back couple with four young children. We a great time working with the family and enjoyed helping them make their dream home a reality.
BEHIND THE SCENES: The LiLu team pushed the client a bit on the finishes for the Master Bath. They loved the concept, but were hesitant. With a little encouragement and assurance from us, they decided to go for it! And they LOVE the end result. The gorgeous floor is the focal point. It looks like marble but is really a digitally printed porcelain. It provides incredible durability with the beautiful veining and interest of real marble. We specified that the large scale rectangular tiles be laid in a herringbone pattern, furthering the custom look.

DON"T MISS the beautiful accent tile in the shower incorporating clear and frosted glass and a metallic gold tile, the beveled 3x6 wall tiles and great custom medicine cabinets.
