Relocation Station – Peek at a Project
Relocation Station is our Peek at a Project
Our clients lead exciting and ever-changing lives. We often help them with all changes of their life. Changes such as merging households due to a wedding, a new baby, becoming empty nesters or a career change. Recently we have had the opportunity to help existing clients with a relocation. They became empty nesters a few years ago and now is the time for a change for them as a couple. A new career brings them to a new place. Between their existing furniture and some new pieces we have designed a fun, modern updated condo. We are excited for their new journey in their new home.
After photos will show up on our Instagram feed and in process photos are always on in our Instagram Stories! Be sure to follow along on the gram : @lilumpls

This looks like another great project! Those darn angles in rooms are really a pain aren’t they?
Great selections. I can’t wait to see it all pulled together!

Lucky clients to have you as their life transtion designer. Going through this exact scenerio myself as an interior designer helped tremendously but I also enlisted my friends in the business or in my personal life as sounding boards. My sister played devil’s advocate when I hesitated on changing the flooring due to costs. Thank goodness I listened to her because it would not happen now or in the future if we had not made this very important decision.
Beautiful project boards!

I love how you were able to incorporate some of your clients current pieces in your new design plans Lisa. I’m also happy to do this if it works with the new design. Can’t wait to see it all done!

I think at the start of the project we were all concerned that nothing they had would work! Because their current home had smaller rooms the scale of the furnishings was right! We did have to select some new items but the vast majority of the space is furnished with existing furnishings and only one table needed to be refinished!

I love the pinks and the reds! It’s a nice change in color from what I’ve seen on Pinterest recently. Can’t wait to see more!

This looks like such a fun project. I got rid of all the red in my home as i had it red and brown and caramel for years! But your beautiful mood boards are making me rethink that decision. Love all the colors and the furnishings you selected! Your client is so lucky to have you as their interior designer!
