In this primary bathroom renovation, several opportunities quickly emerged. While the space had strong bones, it was not fully supporting the way our clients wanted to live.
The original bathroom presented several challenges that limited both comfort and functionality. The shower felt enclosed and lacked natural light, while the existing tub appeared outdated and disconnected from the overall space. A window seat occupied valuable square footage but was rarely used, and the bathroom overall lacked the elevated, “hotel-like” amenities the clients desired. Space previously allocated for a bidet was underutilized, and there was no dedicated storage for costume jewelry or personal items. Additionally, the stunning lake view was not being maximized, and linen storage was insufficient and poorly organized, leaving the space feeling cramped and underperforming.
Each of these challenges became an opportunity to rethink how the space could function with greater intention.

The remodel includes a larger, more private toilet room to enhance comfort and usability, a freestanding tub thoughtfully positioned to capture stunning lake views and paired with a heating mat for added warmth underfoot, and a dedicated vanity area designed for makeup application with custom storage for costume jewelry.
The space also features a spacious glass steam shower that feels open, light-filled, and highly functional, complete with integrated storage for bath products, as well as an expanded double vanity with tailored storage solutions to ensure everything has its place. Adding a touch of everyday luxury, a coffee bar and beverage station were incorporated to make daily routines feel effortless and indulgent. Every design decision was guided by the clients’ desire to feel relaxed, supported, and quietly pampered in their new primary bathroom.
