Quiet on Set!

Before starting a new project, we often ask clients if they have collected any photos over the years of interiors that reflect what they want their new space to look like. These images are usually clippings from magazines. This week, I will be exploring another source of inspiration; movie and television sets. These spaces are often good sources of inspiration because we associate the look with characters or places we feel connected to. Check back all this week for really fun and inspirational television and movie sets!
The comedy Cougar Town is set in Florida. The main character’s house is a beachy, colorful space that serves as the neighborhood hangout. A coral pink sofa and large scale print on the chairs make this living room light and breezy. Another fun print on the barstools brings some lightness into the kitchen too. My favorite thing about this set is the artwork.  Every time I watch the show, my eye is drawn to the two paintings in the living room. It seems like such a fun space to be in.
