Pottery of all Kinds

This last weekend I took some time and went to the Mill City Farmers Market with my family.  It was such an enjoyable way to spend my Saturday morning until the blowing winds came and the abnormal cold temperatures for July but I did get the pleasure of meeting Ty Aymond a Ceramicist, Designer and Artist. I loved his use of color, the different forms that he was exploring and just the abnormal shapes for simple items like a tea pot.  He was a very friendly person and was happy to discuss his work with us.  He shows up at Farmers Markets and Art Fairs but his work is displayed at one of our favorites places...Northern Clay Center.  Check out this great article on Mill City Times.
