River View Primary Bath

This primary bath had a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River — and decades of faux finishes, faux columns, and 1980s-era complexity standing in the way. LiLu cleared the room back to what mattered most: the sky, the river, and a client who deserved a bathroom worthy of both.

Deeply saturated periwinkle walls now converse with the water and sky beyond the glass. A sculptural freestanding tub is centered before floor-to-ceiling windows, framing miles of forested riverbank and open sky. A custom blue vanity with reeded fronts, thoughtful storage, and circular brass hardware runs the full width of the room. A vertical tile inset in white, gray, and gold runs vertically along the wall like a piece of jewelry, while capsule sconces cast a warm, flattering glow. Underfoot, herringbone marble tile adds quiet movement and timeless refinement.

Simple, beautiful, and completely intentional. Just like the view it was always meant to frame.
