Happy New Year to you and yours! Here at LiLu we were excited to jump in, get back in routine and start the New Year off right. Projects come to us in all different shapes and sizes and they come to us for all different reasons. Our first job is to find out 'The Why." What is the driving force behind the project? Do you want more space for you and your family to play games, for children to be able to have a space to do homework, time for yourself to get away with a good book? Do you want a more peaceful bedroom retreat for you and your partner? Being mindful about "Why" you want to do the project will ultimately get you the best final product and help us design the best space for you and all who will occupy the space.
The living room featured on our Monday Peek at Project is just in the beginning phases of being implemented. The design is completed, the construction documents have been approved, the contractor has been decided... The why behind this family was to be more organized, create family and individual spaces, and have the home be more of a reflection of them and the experiences they have had. Below is a Peek at the furniture and fabrics that have been selected. Comfort, simple lines, pops of color with fun patterns begin to tell the story of this family. Check back in a few months to see the final project!
