Look of the Day: the Artwork of Andy Warhol

by Ally Evander, Allied Member, ASID
For a little Friday fun, I thought I would present some artwork by Andy Warhol. His art became an important part of mainstream American culture in the 1960s and has remained popular ever since as a different kind of artwork.  His work represents fun, energy, irreverance, craziness, rebellion and so much more. Just imagine how these art pieces on your wall could completely change your interior:

A rustic interior with a twist: the bright Warhol prints on the wall are an unexpected contrast to the architecture of the house.

Talk about the unexpected, rather than framed prints, this Warhol piece was done on a bedroom's roller shades.
