Look of the Day: Ceruse

Today's Look of the Day is Cerused wood. This is a type of finish where white pigment is rubbed into the grain of the wood, while the non-grain parts of the wood remain a stained finish. This technique is nothing new, but we are seeing more of it. More furniture manufacturers are offering ceruse as a finish option on their furniture pieces, when we typical offering is a stained or painted finish. And we love having another option to add to our repertoire!
