LiLu Blue Hits Home

By LuAnne Silvia
A couple of projects we have in house right now incorporating LiLu Blue:
A tiny powder room called for some special attention. We started with a traditional approach of using mirrors to visually enlarge the space, and put our own spin on it. The client's love of color and modern art led us to a fun solution: using a variety of sizes of round mirrors over a backdrop of painted turquoise walls. The combination of different sized mirrors create an intriguing rhythmic pattern, visually expand the tiny room and provide the functional use of a mirror in a unique way. The turquoise color walls are playful and fun and set the perfect stage to show off the cool tones of the glass. See our rendered sketch below...

Another powder room we are currently designing needed to hold it's own in a home full of details. To add interest in the powder room we knew we needed a dynamic wall finish that would capture your attention from the hallway. We were excited to find the perfect combination of a mottled LiLu Blue color backdrop with a beaded glass wavey pattern. It has a flair of contemporary glamour!
