Houzz

The Houzz website can be a great tool for communicating with your designer. If you are not familiar, Houzz is a website of searchable photos of spaces and products. You can then save photos you like to an "Idea Book." We are finding that more and more clients are taking the time to create Idea Books to gather ideas. They can then share these Idea Books with us to show visually the kinds of spaces they love. It tells us things about their tastes that they may not have been able to articulate.
But we don't just replicate a design that a client has seen online. We believe that one design does NOT fit all! Instead, we analyze commonalities between saved photos and consider it in conjunction with what we have learned in talking with the client. It is a valuable tool in the information intake process which we use to create a completely unique, one-of-a-kind design centered around the client.
