Highlights from NeoCon 2011 – Bright Chair, Innovations & Odaka

Lisa and I flew out of Chicago late last Monday completely inspired. We had enjoyed a day filled with beautiful new products from the Merchandise Mart. NeoCon 2011 did not disappoint!
BRIGHT CHAIR
We had the privilege of meeting Douglas Levine (thank you Marcy) and saw his newest designs for Bright Chair. We fell in love with his newest lounge piece. He said his inspiration was a beautiful woman wearing a fabulous dress with a high slit up her leg. Love the leg detail and how the channeled seat detail wraps around the front of the cushion with no seams or welt. Oh la la...


INNOVATIONS
We also were smitten with the newest wall coverings from Innovations.


ODAKA, INC.
A new fabric line called ODAKA INC. is already represented at IMS through the BlendedBlue showroom. But we were honored to meet the long-time Innovations designer, Fumiaki Odaka while in Chicago. Mr Odaka recently released his boutique textile collection under his own name.
We especially loved this chunky metallic weave: Alexander.
