High Point Market Update
by LuAnne Silvia, ASID
I attended a presentation last fall of the newest introductions from High Point, North Carolina Furniture Market. Charlie Flynn, owner of Francis King Showroom at International Market Square attends market every year and often puts together a slide show recap for designers. I have been to market three times, there is nothing quite like it. But Charlie's presentation is a close second to visiting market, and without the plane ticket!
It is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world, with 10 million square feet of showrooms in 180 buildings and 2000 exhibitors. High Point North Carolina holds two markets every year to unveil the latest and greatest and is a unique opportunity for people to come together and buy, plan, learn and celebrate.
