Elevational Development

by Lisa Peck
One important elevation in this kitchen was the pantry/stand up desk area. For every day use, this area had to accommodate this busy family's need to have school info, bills, and communications incorporated into the kitchen. Pantry storage was also important and when they were entertaining they needed an additional serving area.
On one wall, we designed cabinets that have multiple functions and look beautiful. Designing it is part one of the process of going from design to finished kitchen.

First we create a conceptual elevation.

We do a construction drawing showing all the details we want to incorporate.

Then we review the shop drawings submitted by the cabinet shop for final approval and notes.
