Designer Presentation at Holly Hunt

Another exciting presentation we attended recently was at the Holly Hunt Showroom in International Market Square. They added a new wall covering line to their mix, Trove. The owners and designers of Trove "came home" to present their wall papers and socialize at a reception for interior designers. Randall Buck and Jee Levin, who grew up in Minneapolis, are also the designers behind the large scale/photographic/layered images/art-quality papers. To say it is a wall paper is a bit deceiving, it is redefining wall paper! It is installed in panels and falls somewhere between the category of wall paper, murals, and art. It is truly unique and breathtakingly inspiring!

As an interior desginer I am excited about this product not only because it is like no other and truly beautiful, but also because of the philosophy behind their company. They believe in carrying through the nature and organic inspired images through the process and final product. As described on Trove's website:
"Trove's new eco-friendly PVC free commercial grade wall covering, REDEUX, contains over 31% post consumer recycled materials and combines Type II durability with a Class "A" fire rating. The material has a high level of breathability which increases resistance to mold and mildew in humid environments. With no harmful off-gassing and low VOC emissions, this new recyclable wallcovering contributes to improved air quality and up to 6 LEED point credits. REDEUX is a true alternative to vinyl wallcovering. REDEUX, a recyclable material, can be returned to Trove for reclamation back into wall covering and other industrial materials."
Trove also prints on wood veneer! And makes a wallcovering with glass bead embossing! And window film! And Lighting! And Carpet!
Tune in tomorrow for more images of their exciting product.
