Yoga Room: Peek at a Project

 
Peek at a Project: Yoga Room! Check out this yoga room designed by LiLu Interiors. For this serene, yet energizing space, we used material selections to create soothing texture and color.
The Floor: When doing yoga you spend a lot of time looking at the floor. So we selected cork flooring in a soft taupe color. We laid it out in a herringbone pattern. And it's a much softer surface underfoot than wood, much easier on your joints as you exercise.
The Ceiling: When doing yoga, you also spend a lot of time looking at the ceiling! So we covered the ceiling in a softly metallic wallpaper. Then, we punctuated the ceiling with a fun, organic light fixture. The light is softly diffused by the unique paper shade.
The Walls: We used Weitzner Ltd. wallpaper in this subtle, ethereal pattern for a little visual interest, but not so much that it's distracting.
