by Lisa Peck, ASID

When our client hired us to design their empty-nest condo they made one intention abundantly clear. They wanted to continue to host gatherings, every day and on special occasions, for family and friends. They value their connection to their children and grandchildren and to the various close friends that have become chosen family over time. Fewer square feet but a more open plan allowed us to get creative and design a living room that seats many for entertaining and is still cozy when it’s just occupied by two.

Ally previously shared the materials scheme for this condo on the blog and I shared the initial mood boards. Check back on the blog in two weeks to follow this development of this fabulous condo.
