Armchair Fashion

I love fashion...as inspiration for new ideas for interiors. For years, I enjoyed watching Elsa Klensch deliver the latest video from the runways of Paris, Milan, and New York every Saturday morning. I still look at the magazines from Vogue to Harper's but Elsa Klensch hasn't been on the  air for years so I watch Style television and turn to the internet as well.

The possibilities are endless...Why does an interior designer look at fashion? Color, fabric, techinques can inspire and be translated into interiors.  Yesterday's statement necklace is today's jewelry inspired tieback.  Smocking could be used on a bed covering....or the heading for a drapery panel...
