People often ask Emily if her hair is naturally curly. But they never seem to question her unique combinations of materials, fabrics and finishes. And the color palettes she blends together never miss the mark.

That’s because she is so meticulous about design. On a to-do list the length of a small child’s arm, she tracks every client request that needs to be considered and task that needs to be completed. One time as a joke we hid her list. But she must have had a spare because she just laughed and soon had an even longer list in hand. She’s always prepared for the unexpected. Not to mention amazingly tolerant of bad practical jokes.
