Lisa Peck Speaks at The Oklahoma Builders Summit

Last week, I spoke at The Oklahoma Builders Summit to share What's New in Interior Design Trends, What's Next in Interior Design Trends and how builders can understand and use trends to help homeowners adopt a trend in a way that's right for them. One point I stressed is the difference between a trend and a fad. I also discussed how a trend can be adapted to fit an individual homeowners needs for better long term results. Below is a small peek at just one trend I presented, Mixed Metals. The days of brushed nickel and oil-rubbed bronze being the only option are in the past and mixing metals is no longer an "edgy" look. This trend is being adopted across the industry in lighting, plumbing, tile, accessories and accent furnishings. Imagine the possibilities. Mix metals with the right proportion and the results will be stunning.
