Entry for Art-Monday Peek at a Project

By Lisa Peck, ASID
Our client owns a traditional home in St. Paul, loves to entertain, travel and collect original art. As part of a larger project with the intention of making their home friendlier for entertaining, we updated their entry. We designed an entry for artwork.
In this before photo you'll see they had a table from a previous home in the entry but it didn't provide the storage they needed for everyday items, like handbags, sunglasses and mail. It didn't accommodate charging the ubiquitous devices that are part of modern lives and it restricted traffic into the living room.

IN PROGRESS
Here is an in progress shot of the new custom wall hung cabinet LiLu Interiors designed for the entry. The art once used in the entry would be moved to the dining room since it is now too large for the entry. Luckily our client love picking up original artwork on their travels and intended to take a trip to Brazil. Join us on the blog on Wednesday to see the finished space with it's Brazilian artwork.
