Cozy Piano Nook – Monday’s Peek at a Project

One of my favorite spaces in a home is the space tucked around the corner, the space specifically designed to provide a cozy retreat. When designing a home there are many opportunities to create different types of spaces: The conversation areas for friends to gather, lounge areas for movie night, dining spaces for family meals, organized spaces for craft projects. Don't forget the nook! We love designing spaces that have their own distinctive use and creating spaces that have a completely different feeling when you spend time in them.  This piano nook was designed with several purposes in mind - providing a space for the piano of course, as well as a cozy reading nook, a place for children to nap close by and extra sleeping space for an overnight guest.
